💙💛 Mustang Weekly Update | August 31–September 4

We’re kicking off September with a busy week at Saint Mary’s! 🐴

👕 Monday: Spirit Wear Day, Fall Festival Turkey Deboning 4–5:30 PM, and our Volleyball Season Opener at ICCS at 5:30 PM!

🦃 Wednesday: Fall Festival Turkey Deboning 4–5:30 PM.

📸 Thursday: Fall Portrait Day + Class Pictures — Mass Day uniforms. Then help us kick off our fall sports seasons at the 2:45 PM Pep Rally, followed by Football vs. Prairie Valley at 5 PM!

⛪ Friday: School Mass led by 5th Grade, with 4th Grade in the choir.

🏈💙💛 MUSTANG FOOTBALL IS BACK! 💛💙🏈

It’s almost time to light up Mustang Field! Our Saint Mary’s Mustangs officially kick off their football season on Thursday, September 3 with a scrimmage against Prairie Valley!

🌟 Theme: “Lights Off, Mustangs On!”
🏈 Scrimmage — 5:00 PM

We’re starting the season with a GLOW! Students, families, and fans are encouraged to break out the neon, glow gear, and Mustang spirit as we get our team fired up for their first game of the season.

🎪💙💛 IT’S TIME TO KICK OFF FALL FESTIVAL! 💛💙🎪

One of our favorite Saint Mary’s traditions is almost here, and the fun starts THIS WEEKEND!

📣 Friday, August 28 | 2:45 PM
We’ll officially kick off Fall Festival Raffle Ticket Sales with a school-wide Pep Rally! Our Mustangs will be bringing the spirit as we start working toward another great Fall Festival.

⛪ Sunday, August 30 | 8:15 AM
Join us for our Fall Festival Kickoff Mass, led by our Saint Mary’s students. We’d love to see our school and parish families there!

🦃 Monday, August 31 | 4:00–5:30 PM
It’s time for our first Turkey Deboning Day! Come lend a hand as we begin preparing for that famous Fall Festival Turkey Dinner. No experience necessary—many hands make light work!

Mustang Volleyball is almost here! Please note that tonight’s August 24 game has been canceled, so our Lady Mustangs will officially kick off their 2026 season on Monday, August 31 at ICCS!

Be sure to save the updated schedule and come out to support our girls throughout the season. We’re excited to see them hit the court, represent Saint Mary’s, and show that Mustang spirit! 🐴🏐

💙 Our First Week Back at Saint Mary’s! 💛

What a wonderful first 2 weeks of the 2026–2027 school year! From reconnecting with friends and meeting new classmates to settling into classrooms, learning new routines, and sharing plenty of smiles along the way, it feels good to have our Mustangs back on campus. 🐴💙

Here’s a little peek at some of the moments that made our first days so special. 📸

We’re looking forward to a year filled with faith, learning, friendship, service, school spirit, and lots of Mustang memories.

Thank you to our teachers, staff, families, and students for helping us start the year strong. We can’t wait to see what this year brings!

🥞💙 What a SWEET way to start the week! 💛🍳

A huge THANK YOU to Trails Inn for surprising our Saint Mary’s teachers and staff with a delicious hot breakfast this morning! What a thoughtful way to make our teachers feel loved and appreciated. 💙💛

We are so grateful for local businesses and community members who continue to show up for Saint Mary’s in such special ways. Our teachers certainly felt the love this morning—and started the day with full hearts and full stomachs! 😊
