Applications for the 2013 Florida International Leadership Conference held February 1-3, 2013 at Camp Ocala, Altoona, FL are now being accepted! The Multicultural Student Center and the International Education Office will select a group of 8 students and cover all expenses for a weekend filled with professional development sessions, networking opportunities, and lots of fun. The goals of this conference are:
• To enhance leadership skills.
• To promote friendships and networks among international and study abroad students.
• To acknowledge and reward student leaders who work at promoting international understanding on campus.
• To challenge students to see themselves as global leaders.
• To recognize the differing styles of leadership across cultures.
If you are in good academic standing (2.5 GPA or above), actively involved in a student or other relevant organization, interested in international affairs, and feeling that you could benefit from this exciting opportunity contact Eileen Bustamante at [email protected] for application details. Hi again! We would like you to know that our club meetings are going to be every other week on Monday from 2pm to 3pm, and Tuesday from 5pm to 6pm in B-216. So the next club meeting will be on Monday December 12th and Tuesday December 13th. We hope to see you there!
