We can hardly believe it, but enrollment is almost closed. 🤍

If The Fold Academy has been on your mind, this is your sign to take the next step.

At The Fold, families get the best of both worlds:
a safe, supportive school environment two days a week, with the freedom and flexibility of homeschooling the rest of the week.

Our students learn in small, relationship-centered classrooms with caring teachers, clear structure, and room to breathe.

Last day to enroll for the upcoming school year is April 30th.

If you’ve been looking for a homeschool hybrid that feels thoughtful, personal, and grounded, we’d love for you to apply.

Apply now before enrollment closes.

…and a little muddy! 🪨

This week our students became little scientists exploring mud and rocks.

We asked a big question: Is mud alive?
After observing real mud together, students discovered that mud itself isn’t alive, but it’s full of living things like worms, bugs, plants, and tiny life we can’t even see.

We paired our science lesson with the beautiful book Up in the Garden and Down in the Dirt, imagining the busy world happening beneath the soil while gardens grow above it.

And while the children thought they were just playing in dirt, they were also practicing:

• writing letters M, N, O, P, and V in mud
• counting rocks and learning the number 14
• drawing shapes in the dirt
• exploring textures and describing what they observed

They painted with mud, made rock collages, wiggled like worms, and discovered that mud helps living things live.

Childhood should include curiosity, discovery, and yes… a little mud.

A few spots remain in our preschool program and they are filling quickly.

🎄 Christmas fun in our elementary classes! 🎄

Mr. Steve’s 2nd/3rd grade class enjoyed a wonderful Christmas party made extra special with the help of parents. The day was filled with games, laughter, and some cozy downtime with a favorite Christmas movie. The students made the cutest tree we’ve ever seen!

Mrs. Tammy’s 1st grade class joined in the celebration with a party full of crafts, games, and movie time. The students stayed busy, excited, and clearly loved every minute together.

These are the days we treasure most. Days full of joy, community, and Christmas cheer. ❤️🎄

🎄 One more day until Christmas! 🎄
We hope everyone is soaking up the joy of this season. Our littlest classes sure did!

✨ Mrs. Brittany’s 2-year-old class celebrated with a birthday party for Jesus, a pretend snowball fight, and lots of Christmas activities and crafts.

✨ Mrs. Logan’s 3-year-old class had a cozy PJ Christmas party and created ornaments, bead candy canes, Christmas tree and gingerbread process art, and so much more.

✨ Mrs. Amanda and Mrs. Kadee’s Pre-K class spent the first two weeks of December learning about Christmas in Germany and Christmas in Mexico through Las Posadas. Their final week focused on giving by learning that we give because Jesus was born to give His life for ours. They worked hard all week making special gifts for their parents. ❤️

✨ Mrs. Jessica’s Kindergarten class showed up looking extra FESTIVE, and their creations matched! They made hats, gingerbread houses, nativity scenes, abstract reindeer and Christmas trees, paper chains, and even enjoyed a Christmas movie.

And of course… we spent LOTS of time outside running off all that Christmas excitement 😂

We are so incredibly blessed with the best teachers. They pour so much love into our students and helped make this Christmas season truly magical. 🎄✨

You handle the gift wrapping, we handled the messy crafts. 🎁

We officially wrapped up our school year on Thursday, and we’re so grateful for a semester full of learning, laughter, and creativity.

Our students took a break from their core curriculum to celebrate Christmas with their friends, eat popcorn and watch classic Christmas movies, make Christmas crafts, play games, and participate in a secret Santa gift exchange.

We loved seeing everyone’s Christmas pajamas and sweaters!

See you all next year! 🎄

Junior high is tough — but it doesn’t have to be.
A smaller school can change EVERYTHING.
Confidence grows here. Friendships grow here. Kids come alive here. 💙

At The Fold Academy, our hybrid homeschool rhythm is simple: more Jesus, more play, less stress.

Our kindergarteners start their day centered in Chapel, move into joyful creativity in Imagination Station, and then settle into hands-on learning that keeps their hearts engaged and their minds growing.

It’s learning that feels like childhood — and childhood that’s anchored in Him. 🤍
