So very proud of our Anchor Clubs for participating in Beep Ball yesterday. Members had a great time as you can see from the pictures. Special thanks to the Disability Resource Center.
Beep Ball at Alberta Banks Park, in photos
Beep Ball is a sport for the visually impaired and is used as sensitivity training for those who wish to participate who are not visually impaired. A Times photographer caught the action Thursday, March 21, during the Disability Resource Center's annual event at Alberta Banks Park .

The Pilot Club of Gainesville is involved with a program called Project Lifesaver which provides tracking devices for people with special needs who might have a tendency to wander. Local deputies, officers receive updated training for Project Lifesaver
Law enforcement officers from three different agencies in Hall County received some updated training this week that should help them in certain missing persons searches.

The Disability Resource Center's ninth annual Beep Ball event at the North Hall Community Center in Gainesville, on Friday, March 30, 2018. Special-education students, their peers and teachers, from various Hall County schools, came together to play beep ball and help foster inclusion.

Anchor Clubs return to schools in Hall County
Students at eight schools in Hall County now have one more avenue of giving back to the community, something founders of Anchor International believe is a “need” the current generation has deep within them.
