The following after school activities are cancelled today, Thursday, February 6, 2020, due to inclement weather:
- 21st Century;
- Tutoring;
- All Clubs

All parents/ guardians of students in these after school activities, please make arrangements for your child to travel home safely today during dismissal at 2:52 pm.

EDEP will still remain open.

Dear Lake Forest Elementary School Community,

We have and always will make safety our top priority here at Lake Forest Elementary School (LFES).

Before school started this morning, law enforcement and school administrators dealt with a situation on campus involving an individual in one of our parking lots who was behaving erratically. We locked down the school immediately, and the individual was apprehended very quickly.

We would like to thank our local law enforcement for acting swiftly to ensure the safety of our entire student body and staff. We also want to remind parents that if they or their children see or hear something suspicious, they should contact the school or law enforcement right away.

By working together, we can make sure Lake Forest Elementary continues to be a safe place to learn!

Hey - Don't forget tonight is our Winter Concert!

The program is on Thursday, December 19th at 6:00pm.

This will be an evening of music and merriment. All grades will be singing.

Students should arrive “dressed in their best” between 5:30 and 5:45 so that they may sit with their grade level in the music room.

All students will be a part of the program. After their group
performs, students may sit with their parents or guardians.

Come out and support your student in this holiday performance. Join us afterwards for a holiday treat.

We look forward to seeing you there!
