Last night was our final clarinet choir concert of the year, honoring our wonderful Professor Estrin. Several duets and small ensembles were featured, along with the full choir (including a few alumni guest appearances!!) and lovely speeches from friends. Thank you to Professor Estrin for all you’ve done for us and the choir, we ❤️ you!

This Thursday, the UF wind symphony clarinet section performed a wonderful concert, including John Mackey’s clarinet concerto “Divine Mischief”, featuring as a soloist. We are honored to have Julian bliss work with the clarinet studio over the last week.

Additionally, we performed Maslanka’s fourth symphony, with a clarinet mouthpiece feature, as seen in the third slide.

Today, the UF clarinet studio was visited by none other than . He gave feedback to a few of our students, and shared wisdom from his many years of playing. He was accompanied by Gary Winder, from Vandoren.

Later this week, Julian Bliss will be soloing with the Wind Symphony.
