World Race: Gap Year

“Today I put my world race pack on and stood in the mirror staring for a minute. In awe. In awe that the Lord has paved my path the way He has. At 18 years old I will be living out of this pack for 9 whole months in 4 different countries. In just 7 short months I leave. I pack all that I can in here and go. I used to dream about what life would look like after graduation and let’s be real, I never saw this being what was next but gracious am I thankful! - many have asked if I’m scared about going out of the states during such a time and my response every time is no. Now is when He called me and He makes NO MISTAKES. No because He has given me such peace in this step I’m taking. Stepping out in obedience and in confidence knowing that I will be taken care of. So thank you God. Now let’s graduate!”

“If we want to experience true intimacy with God, we must learn to quiet the clatter and enter His stillness. Learning to be quiet before the Lord is one of the greatest challenges we face today in our quest to enter in and experience true intimacy with Him.

The Lord has really been teaching me the art of being still and being content with only being a son. Sometimes that looks like sitting in solitude with him at my side like my friend but other times that looks like walking through an old parking garage and experiencing pure joy with the community around me. So take the time you have today to rest within the presence of the Lord and allow him to fill you.”

I’m so hype to announce that I was accepted to go on the World Race Gap Year next year!! This means I will be living in Costa Rica, Romania, Eswatini, and South Africa doing ministry work and spreading the gospel all while sharing the love of Jesus!

I’m insanely excited and grateful for this opportunity. & I can’t wait to see where the Lord leads me & my team on this journey!”

“JOY: opening a school & meeting lots of new friends ages 2-10, hearing all the giggles trying to learn the opposite language, helping in the kitchen and trying lots of new foods, and skipping with the kiddos on the way home. The Lord is revealing so much joy in this season, whether that’s sitting on the soccer field at the base in His word or getting to love & laugh with his children, my heart is completely overflowing with JOY.
