Our first synchronous virtual exchange between students from the Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering Department at UF and Aswan University - جامعة أسوان (ASWU), Egypt through the HEAT Program occurred today!
This program is sponsored by The Stevens Initiative through the U.S. Department of State - Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs [Exchange Programs - U.S. Department of State] and managed by The Aspen Institute.
We conducted an icebreaker to help participants get acquainted. Then Dr. Walid Aissa from ASWU presented a dimensional analysis lecture to prepare us for our joint Similitude hands-on experiment later this week.
