Our Entomology & Honey Bee Club Collaboration Meeting had a great turn out! We hope everyone enjoyed learning about each otherβs clubs and meeting the honey bees and our arthropods. Our next meeting (11/20) will be in preparation for our Spring Bugfest, which will focus on social insects! π

Our 2025 Fall camping trip to Osceola National Forest was a blast! We hope you all enjoyed spending the weekend out in nature and the waffles.π We will host another camping experience in Spring, so be on the look out for more information as the end of this semester approaches! π

Our arts and crafts meeting was a lot of fun! We hope you enjoyed making lip balm and creating bug decorations for our bulletin board. Be on the lookout for future activities including NATLβs night collecting event (Oct. 21) and our Coffee Hour (Oct 24)!

Hello bug enthusiasts! Our next meeting will be on Thursday, September 16th at 4:30 pm in Steinmetz 2218. After our meeting we will have a variety of materials for making fun bug crafts and lip balm, and there will be snacks!

Hello, everyone! We hope you are enjoying your semester and are seeing lots of bugs out and about! Our next meeting will be on Thursday, October 2, in Steinmetz 2218, at 4:30 pm. We will be discussing upcoming events and hosting an insect curation workshop, so make sure to bring your pinning equipment and some insects! If you need to borrow equipment or specimens to practice with, we will have a limited number available to use.

Our next group meeting is Thursday, September 18th at 4:30 pm! After a brief collection techniques presentation in Steinmetz Hall 2218, we will walk across the street to UFβs Natural Area Teaching Lab (NATL). We will have some sweep nets and aquatic nets available at the meeting, but be sure to bring containers and collection equipment!
