Things have changed and I have just accepted a position with LCPS for the 2023-2024 school year. Thank you all for supporting this. I may return in a few years. ❤️❤️

Evidence of learning absolutely does NOT need to be found on a worksheet or in a test score.

I believe evidence of learning should be either on a child, or exclaimed from a child, emerging in their ideas and in their play. Sometimes, I believe it lives quietly within them, because they cannot yet make sense of it, nor articulate it. But it's there.. just waiting for more pieces of information.

Children are constantly tucking away nuggets of knowledge so they can pull it out on another day, in a different situation and apply it.

Their knowledge is demonstrated in the things they choose to do, in the ideas they come up with, the resourcefulness they demonstrate, the intriguing way they view the world.

LISTEN to the children.... every last bit of them... the WHOLE child, and you will see all the evidence of learning.

We are ready for registration! Please let me know if you have any questions. Our days will be spent exploring and engaging with nature in all SAFE weather, taking hikes, visiting farms, and growing food. Learning will be based at our home in Gainesville.
Exploring Nature with Children: Year Long Curriculum will be used
Children must be 3-5 yrs old and fully potty trained
Enrollment options are M-F, Tues/Th, or M/W/F 9:00-3:00
Registration Fee: $160 to hold your child's place
Rates: $80 per day enrolled
