Give Thanks, Give Back: Supporting Local Food Pantries
As we gather around our tables this Thanksgiving season, many Tennessee families are feeling the strain of rising food costs and limited SNAP benefits. Across our state, local food pantries and community meal programs are seeing increased demand, and they need our help more than ever! If you have a little extra to give, consider donating non-perishable foods, frozen meats, or even
fresh produce from your garden. Every can, every bag of rice, frozen turkey makes a difference for a neighbor in need.
Not everyone can give food, but you can give big in other ways too! Volunteers are always needed to sort donations, pack boxes, deliver meals, or help with local Thanksgiving events. Even a few hours of your time can lighten the load for a hardworking family this season. Together, we can make sure every Tennessean has food on the table and hope in their hearts this holiday season.

More Red Ribbon Week activities!

On Monday, we spent the day at Jackson County High School promoting Red Ribbon Week to students, giving them the chance to sign the pledge wall and commit to a drug-free lifestyle. We also shared prevention resources.

Thanks to JCHS for the partnership, and a shout-out to the students who helped us promote Red Ribbon Week at JCHS and on social media.👏

Happy Friday! 😀

As we wrap up Red Ribbon Week, remember it’s more than a theme - it’s a promise to yourself to live drug-free and make positive choices that will shape your future. See Ella Smith’s message!

We celebrated National Red Ribbon Week a few weeks ago by meeting with Mayor Jim Morgan to sign the proclamation, then created tags to be added on the Red Ribbon.

Thank you to all the businesses and organizations that participated and allowed us to hang the Red Ribbon in support of drug prevention week. Great job to these young people who spent their fall break celebrating the choice to live a drug-free lifestyle.
