Buckeye Self Defense - Krav Maga

I'm a week late for this post, but wanted to give a huge shoutout to our members who recently tested! Brenna and Nate did a great job in their Level 1 test and plowed right through it. It can really be challenging, especially not knowing exactly what to expect!
Bobbi Jo and Jeremiah sweated, grunted, and punched their way through the Level 3 test, and never let up. Joe put them through the ringer and they both excelled!
Welcome all four of you to the next level of challenges! You're freakin beasts!

We had a great weekend with the new 2nd Degree Black Belts, and a surprise with Matt Kissel getting his 5th Degree Black Belt from the new leader of the United States Krav Maga Association, Michael Jozwiak! Congratulations to everyone!

Happy New Year everyone! We're starting off right with a great Cardio class tonight, open and free to the public! Come on in and see what we do on Fridays... one hour of fun workout circuit starting at 6:45. Work at your own pace, and get a good sweat going. No need to book ahead, just show up. See you then!

Classes help others find strength through self-defense Buckeye Self Defense classes focus on practical lessons like punches and choke defenses that can give people a fighting chance in dangerous situations.

This Friday at 5:45, come in for our monthly weapons class. This one will go over striking with and defending against a knife.
Also, this Saturday morning at 8:45, James is running the new Level 1 class.
Both of these are open to ALL MEMBERS!

Big shout-out to these beasts for successfully completing their level tests last Saturday! Kenzie and Meredith are now Level 2, Lucy Level 3, and Danny passed into Level 4 after enduring one of Joe's brutal endurance tests! Well Done all of you!
Special thanks to Anna for a great job administering the Level 1 and 2 tests, and James and Shawn for coming in to give Danny some added grief!
It's awesome seeing our members doing so well, and working their way up to Black Belt!

Our Women's Self Defense classes have been booked up every month this year! Some of the attendees have asked about firearm training for beginners, and the Bullet Ranch is a great facility for that. Their staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, and are ready to help you.
