Free backpacks filled with school supplies are available for 2026-27 GJPS students to help kick off the new school year ready to learn.

🎒 Limit of 3 backpacks per family
🎒 Available to the first 500 GJPS students to register
🎒 Applications must be submitted by August 1, 2026
🎒 Drive-through pickup details will be emailed to families

Backpacks must be picked up on August 15, 2026, from 1-2:30 p.m.

Enrollment Balancing Community Priorities:
Gahanna-Jefferson Public Schools is reviewing enrollment patterns and building capacities across our schools. Given the details of the enrollment report presented at our February Board of Education meeting, it is important for the District to begin evaluating ways to provide relief to buildings that are at or near capacity and develop a plan that provides better utilization in our buildings.

As we work through this process, we want to hear from you. Please weigh in with what you think the priorities should be while working on balancing enrollment between our buildings. The deadline to complete this form is May 31, 2026.

As plans are developed, families at impacted schools will receive additional communication about ways to engage with this process. Any changes made would not take effect until the 2027-28 school year.

Calling All Goshen Lane Seniors 💙🎓💛

GLHS Goshen Lane Seniors, put on those caps and gowns and come say goodbye to where you started it all Tuesday, May 19th from1:30-2:40 for a Senior Celebration and Clap Out. Senior parents are welcome to join.

-->1:30 Seniors will gather in the Goshen Lane courtyard to visit with previous teachers, take photos and enjoy light snacks.
-->2:00 Goshen Lane K-5 students line the halls as Seniors make their final lap.
-->2:15 Seniors can take photos in front of the Goshen Lane sign, on the playground, etc.
