Gahanna Lions Hockey Awards Banquet 2026.
A really fun celebration of the team and their accomplishments. Thanks to Chad Highland and all the volunteers for a nice evening. Thanks to the Hockey Board for supporting the team. Thanks to our Coaches - Tyler, Kevin, and Curt for developing the teams. And thanks to the JV and Varsity players for a lot of great memories on ice and off.

Congratulations to Lions seniors, Jack Richards and Dom Cacchillo, as they will be representing Gahanna at the Senior All-Star Game tomorrow, March 7th, at the Ice Haus!

Lions fought hard in the final game but fell 8 - 2 to a very strong Lake team. But the second place trophy is still a nice result for the tournament. Congratulations especially to our seniors, we will miss seeing you battle it out on the ice, and all the exciting hockey action you brought to our lives.

For our Seniors this tournament marked the final chapter. Good Luck for their future endeavors. See you guys at the alumni games. Once a Lion, always a Lion

It wasn't the result we wanted on the scoreboard, but it’s a journey we’ll never forget. The Gahanna Lions fell 8-2 to a tough Lake team in the pod tournament championship, finishing an incredible run with heads held high.

The Lions fought until the final whistle, with standout goals from:

While the game didn't go our way, the grit shown by every player on that field reminded us what it means to wear the blue and gold.

This tournament marked the final chapter for our graduating class. To the Seniors who stepped onto the ice as Lions one last time: Thank you! You’ve led this team with passion, mentored the next generation, and left a legacy of sportsmanship and hard work. Once a Lion, always a Lion!

A massive THANK YOU to the best fans in the state! Your energy in the stands and your unwavering support throughout this tournament carried us to the finals. We felt every cheer.
