How are you on things
Gahanna Admin, you have students in your district who are not as fortunate as others. Most of your teachers know who these students are. You will be shut down for 3 weeks which means the toiletries and food that would normally be used and distributed would just be sitting there. Please send / offer to send these basic necessities home with families that may need them.
Definitely not a good school system I attended there from 2007-2011 a teacher by the name of Brooke menduni had me raped and so did a group of other teachers named ms.erwin ms.hiles mr. and mrs.amerson and ms.hawkins of the Gahanna community school to cover another former student that’s had me raped not a place where I would trust my child’s safety

I think GLHS should seriously consider one entrance to every building with a metal detector and security personnel to search any student that sets off the detectors. The student with the gun in Clark Hall today may not have hurt anyone but future incidents may not have the same outcome.
I am trying to buy Homecoming tickets. It says "not available". Does that mean it's sold out? My freshman daughter just told me about the link yesterday. Any info. would be great. Thanks!

We are nearly 2,400 students - and 200 staff members - across 36 award-winning academic, music and social organizations clubs, & 27 varsity sports!

As you are aware, on Wednesday, April 18th there were difficulties with the AIR testing platform for many of our students (and students throughout Ohio) taking Algebra I and Geometry. The difficulties contributed to many of our GLHS students not completing their assessments on Wednesday. As a result, we will need to re-test the students who did not complete their Algebra I and/or Geometry tests (and any students completing make ups) on Monday, April 23rd. Due to the number of students who need to complete their assessments we will again operate under a delayed start for the school day.

Below is the bell schedule we will use (and will also be posted on the school website).

On Friday, April 20th, we will begin notifying students of who will test and where the students will test. Their room locations will be posted on the walls near the counselors' offices. Again, this re-test is for students who were not able to finish their Algebra I or Geometry assessment on Wednesday, April 18th. Those students will begin their school day at 7:30 AM for testing. The rest of the student body will begin school on Monday, April 23rd at 11:00 AM.

Below are the make-up dates for assessments taken this week. All of the dates below (except for Monday, April 23rd) are regular bell schedules. Students will be notified if they need to take a make-up assessment:

Friday, April 20th - Biology
Monday, April 23rd - Algebra I, Geometry
Tuesday, April 24th - US History, Government
Tuesday, April 24th - SAT Assessment for Juniors

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time. We want to make sure all of our students have the best learning environments and accommodations for their assessments. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

If you have any questions, please contact the front office at 478-5500.
