As you are aware, on Wednesday, April 18th there were difficulties with the AIR testing platform for many of our students (and students throughout Ohio) taking Algebra I and Geometry. The difficulties contributed to many of our GLHS students not completing their assessments on Wednesday. As a result, we will need to re-test the students who did not complete their Algebra I and/or Geometry tests (and any students completing make ups) on Monday, April 23rd. Due to the number of students who need to complete their assessments we will again operate under a delayed start for the school day.
Below is the bell schedule we will use (and will also be posted on the school website).
On Friday, April 20th, we will begin notifying students of who will test and where the students will test. Their room locations will be posted on the walls near the counselors' offices. Again, this re-test is for students who were not able to finish their Algebra I or Geometry assessment on Wednesday, April 18th. Those students will begin their school day at 7:30 AM for testing. The rest of the student body will begin school on Monday, April 23rd at 11:00 AM.
Below are the make-up dates for assessments taken this week. All of the dates below (except for Monday, April 23rd) are regular bell schedules. Students will be notified if they need to take a make-up assessment:
Friday, April 20th - Biology
Monday, April 23rd - Algebra I, Geometry
Tuesday, April 24th - US History, Government
Tuesday, April 24th - SAT Assessment for Juniors
Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time. We want to make sure all of our students have the best learning environments and accommodations for their assessments. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
If you have any questions, please contact the front office at 478-5500.

It capped a third consecutive state meet in which the girls scored at least 50 points and provided an exclamation point for a boys team that returned to state prominence this season.
