Class of 1972
Welcome Gahanna (Ohio) High School alumni! Since I did not find any other FB page already established for our class, I thought this might be a good gathering place for us. And remember, we have a 40th (yes, hard to believe isn’t it!?) so we should begin our plans. Enjoy.
Mission: To offer a gathering place for Gahanna Lincoln High School alumni, class of 1972.

An excellent way to end our reunion!
[09/01/12] Just posted pics from Friday evening event. Feel free to tag to your heart's content.
Our 40th reunion began with a tour of the new Clark Hall, then moved to Gatsby’s patio.
[08/31/12] REMEMBER: CLASS OF '72 REUNION FESTIVITIES THIS WEEKEND. 7:00 AT GATSBY'S ON FRIDAY AND 7:00 AT FLANAGAN'S PUB ON SATURDAY. IF STROLLING THROUGH GAHANNA ON SATURDAY, BE SURE TO CHECK OUT "THE ZODIAC" IT IS VERY, VERY COOL.
I have now set Adele Buell Perkins as a Content Creator for our Gahanna Lincoln FB page. Adele has always been one of the first to step up for our class, and works tirelessly to keep us glued together. We all should be sure to post our thanks to Adele! (she probably won’t mind us buying her a drink this coming weekend too :-) .
THANK YOU Adele; You are a gem!
Time is approaching. If you still keep in touch with folks from our class, PLEASE encourage them to come. We have 56 confirmed, and a few who say they will pay at the door on Saturday (which is fine). I know we do not need a big crowd to celebrate, but I just don't want anyone to miss out. Some locals we have not heard from (off the top of my head) - Ray Packard, Charlie Smith, Randy Brown, Mike Mahaffey, Cindy Ellis, John Fridley, Tim Hall, Robin Oakley, Jill Taylor, Neil Morrison, Mike Lobaugh. I have heard from Keith Burkes, Calvin McKnight, Chuck Mayhew, Janet Egan, Ken Kelly, Laura Pope, who plan to come and pay at the door. If you have info for someone, please forward it to me or pass the info to them.
WE WILL HAVE A POSTER BOARD FOR PICTURES, ARTICLES, ETC. PLEASE BRING ANYTHING YOU HAVE TO SHARE! I remember one year, Alan DuVall (who I haven't heard from) wore his school jacket, and didn't Dr. John, wear his letter sweater? :-)
Be sure not to miss Friday evening at 6:20, meet at the Gahanna Dairy Queen for a tour of the new Clark Hall. It's a new, hi-tech school for our Gahanna students.
If anyone wants to arrange a luncheon or breakfast for Saturday or Sunday, pass the word.
SO, WE WILL SEE YOU NEXT FRIDAY/SATURDAY !!! REMEMBER - CASUAL, CASUAL, CASUAL ATTIRE. DRAG OUT YOUR TYE-DYE!
Here is the invitation, in case you did not receive one, or lost it.

[05/10/12] Suggested theme for our 40th reunion: “VITA BREVIS” (Latin: Life is brief). Let’s enjoy where we have been, and what we have in front of us.
[05/09/12] Attention Laura Pope: Loved your suggestion to start uploading pics & stories. When can we expect you to get us started?
[05/09/12] Adele Perkins/Buell is coordinating plans and reservations for Friday and Saturday evenings (August 31 & Sept 1, 2012). Please leave comments here for all to share.
Let's look at Friday/Saturday August 31 & September 1st.
OK folks ("Classmates") of 1972; we are looking for suggestions for our 40th reunion which, as you should already be aware, will be this year.
Last time (5 years ago), we had a very casual event on Friday evening at Gatsby's and on Saturday evening we had another very casual event at Flanagan's at the corner of Clark State Road and Reynoldsburg-New Albany Road. The bar has a private party room with doors to the patio. Does anyone remember who the entertainment was, and how they were paid?
How does September 7-8th work for everyone?
We can also plan impromptu get togethers over the weekend by leaving updates on this page, so as you want to meet up with various classmates over lunches, etc., just post your plans here.
Join in and share your thoughts and suggestions.
This is OUR reunion, and your mother isn’t going to plan this one.
