Gaffney High's Drama Department does A LOT throughout the year to bring quality entertainment to family and friends in the area. The drama department is always working tirelessly to put on an array of quality productions. Every school year starts off with a fall play in November, with auditions for students in September. Next, the community of Gaffney can gather at the High School for a fun night with the band, chorus and drama department as they put on a Madrigal Dinner. The audience will be able to enjoy a nice meal while they watch a comedic play that is accompanied with renaissance music provided by chorus and band. In January, Advanced Drama puts on a full length play. Miles has brought a new freshness to the stage at GHS. Her first year here she put on the show IN THE HEIGHTS, which was written by Lin-Manuel Miranda, who more recently is recognized for his 11 Tony Award winning musical HAMILTON.
