Due to changes with high school graduation, our Senior Graduation Walk for our former Gators will now take place tomorrow morning, Monday, May 18th at 8:00 AM!
We hope to see all of our former Gators walking the halls in their caps and gowns and proudly representing their next journey! 🎓

🦎🐰 You’re Invited to Critter Keeper at Grassy Pond Elementary! 🐢🦘

Get ready for a wildly fun and educational experience! Carolina Critter Keeper is coming to GPE on Wednesday, May 20, bringing amazing animals and hands-on learning for our students.

📚 Presentation Times:
• 9:00 AM – 4K–2nd Grade
• 10:00 AM – 3rd–5th Grade

📸 Picture Opportunity (Optional):
Students can choose to take pictures with the animals after the presentation!
• Most animals: $10
• Kangaroo: $20
• Cash or check payable to Carolina Critters

📝 Important Reminder:
All students must return a signed permission form in order to attend the show—even if they do not plan to purchase pictures.

⭐️Our 4K and 5K teachers would love to see their students’ family members here to support our Gators as each child is recognized! 💚🐊

⭐️4k and 5k parents please be sure to complete and turn in Field Day snack menu form and money tomorrow!

⭐️We apologize for the late notice about Food Truck Friday! It was difficult finding a time during this busy part of the school year. Please make sure your 4th grader brings enough money to enjoy a sweet treat during their special Food Truck Friday! 🍦🎉

⭐️If you ordered a yearbook and choose to leave before the yearbook ceremony, your yearbook will be sent home on Monday. Anyone planning to purchase a yearbook tomorrow, please note that we only have a few left and they will be sold on a first come, first served basis. Please send your student with $30, and they will have an opportunity to purchase one after the ceremony.

Today we celebrated the incredible, wonderful, amazing, selfless, giving, loving, caring (I could go on and on) Ms. Kathy, Ms. Kelsey, and Nurse Kelly! These three ladies go above and beyond every single day. They are so much more than a bookkeeper, PowerSchool clerk, and nurse. They keep our students safe and well, our staff covered and protected, and our families informed and supported. Grassy Pond would not be the school it is without each of them. Today and every day, we appreciate their passion, hard work, and dedication. Thank you for ALL that you do!
