This week, we are excited to shine the spotlight on Mrs. James! 🐾 Mrs. James is always thinking of little ways to bring joy, positivity, and a smile to our staff. This year, she has brought a new tradition to NWES with morning coffee deliveries! ☕️ Beyond the coffee, Mrs. James is constantly looking for ways to build school culture and make our staff feel appreciated. She helps organize special opportunities and events throughout the year that give our staff a chance to connect, celebrate, and enjoy a little fun together. 💙
Her thoughtfulness reminds us that school culture is built in the little moments—the unexpected cup of coffee, a fun event, a reason to laugh, or simply knowing that someone is thinking about you.

We are so thankful for the positivity, creativity, and care Mrs. James brings to NWES.

Mrs. Pattersons second grade class had such a fun week! 🩵 Our class put their spelling skills to the test with a little friendly competition, and we had SO much fun cheering each other on! ✏️🏆 We also enjoyed a special field trip to support one of our classmates as they participated in the school play. 🎭 We love learning, celebrating, and making memories together! 💙

In art this week, third grade learned about warm colors and how to create mood in an artwork. Students drew hedgehogs and added their own flair to the composition. This fall themed artwork will be in our Northwest halls next week!

Several of our students were able to see the 101 Dalmatians play today! If you missed it, there are other shows tonight at six and tomorrow at two! So proud of our students who are performing!

🥚💥 Mrs. Tucker’s 4th-grade scientists are gearing up for the ultimate test: Egg Race Day! As part of our Twig Science energy unit, students are applying what they learned about collisions to design custom safety mechanisms that protect a raw egg during a crash. We can't wait to see their creative problem-solving and engineering skills in action on race day! 🏎️💨
