What an incredible 2 weeks at our 2nd Annual Future Cardinal Fabricators Camp! 🤖⚙️

We had the pleasure of welcoming middle school students from across the region for an exciting, hands-on learning experience centered on Robotics and Mechanical Design Technology. Campers took on the challenge of not only building their own robots but also designing and creating custom attachments using industry-relevant design software, programming, and coding. Their hard work culminated in two exciting competitions—a robot dance battle 💃 and a soccer match ⚽—where creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving were on full display and were judged by none other than Gadsden State President Alan Smith!

We're proud to motivate the next generation of innovators, engineers, and makers by giving students opportunities to explore advanced manufacturing and CTE in a fun, engaging environment. We can't wait to see what these future fabricators accomplish next!

A special thank you to Success Coach Mirandi Watson, Mechanical Design Tech-Ayers Campus GSCC instructor Hollie Bonds, and adjunct Mechanical Design instructor Johnny Fuqua for developing and leading this year’s program! Before June wrapped up, we had an amazing time welcoming the Acastemics team to our campuses for not one but two sessions of STEM & Career Camp! 🚀🔬⚙️

Over three exciting days, middle school students explored the world of science, technology, engineering, and math while getting hands-on with projects that connected directly to Gadsden State's technical education programs. From building to creating to discovering future career possibilities, these campers showed curiosity, creativity, and teamwork every step of the way!

A big thank you to the AcaSTEMics team for inspiring the next generation of innovators. We can't wait to see where these future problem-solvers go next!
