Fyffe High School Class of 2009

This past May marked 15 years since we were under the roof of Fyffe High School together. It has been 5 years since we gathered as a class to share our experiences beyond the classroom. We have all grown older and wiser which is something we should celebrate!

In consideration of the military personell and the majority being home around the holidays we are planning to meet at Limon’s in Henagar on December 28th at 5pm. Let’s get together to celebrate the class of 2009! Feel free to bring family and friends you would like your classmates to meet.

One of our classmates, Paige Gipson, has lost her mom this week. Many of us have a good Rhonda story. She was always laughing and smiling. Made everyone of us feel loved. She will be at WT Wilson Funeral Home today 5pm-8pm and the funeral will be Tuesday at 3pm. One of our classmates, Justin Gilbert, has lost his dad this week. The family has asked that instead of flowers, we donate to a memorial fund in Tim’s honor. We are going to send a donation and also a card to give Justin and his family. Please continue to pray for Justin and his family during this difficult time!

We have lost a classmate this week, Blake Gilbert has sadly passed away. Arrangements for Blake are as follows: Visitation Friday from 5-8pm and Funeral Saturday at 3pm. Please pray for Blake’s family through this difficult time.

One of our classmate’s, Kellie Bearden, dad passed away this week. We would like to send some flowers to show support from our class. If you would like to help out, you can send money through PayPal to [email protected].

There will be a memorial service Friday at 11am at Antioch Baptist Church for Kellie’s dad, Kim. Our thoughts and prayers are with Kellie and her family during this difficult time!

Due to lack of interest and lack of funds the plans for campus 806 are cancelled. We are currently working out a more simpler and local venue and will have more details by next week. We have decided to also move the date to later in the year to hopefully accommodate more people.
