We are excited to share that Willow Springs High School will be hosting NAMI Wake County’s Ending the Silence (ETS) presentation, a nationally recognized program that helps families learn about mental health, reduce stigma, and support young people’s well-being. This is a free, 60-minute program designed specifically for families and loved ones of students. This presentation provides families with practical tools to recognize warning signs of mental health conditions in youth, strategies for talking with children about mental health, guidance on partnering with school staff to address concerns early and effectively, and a safe and engaging space to ask questions and connect with resources.

Don't forget the 4th Annual PTSA Blessing Bowl food drive if you are coming out to the Football Game on Thursday. All perishable food donations support the Fuquay-Varina Emergency Food Pantry. Food donations can be dropped at the gate on your way into the game! We'll see you at the game.

Yearbook Purchasing - We will be opening up the option to purchase a yearbook for anyone who missed the original window. This option is called a Digital Reprint, so the book will not be exactly the same as the original book. Differences will include: some color variation, a printed gloss-finish cover without the cutout, no raised features on the cover, just flat-printed font, and no colorful end sheets, just plain white.

We will need at least 25 confirmed purchases to be able to order, which means if 25 families are not interested, we will not be able to do the reprint. The cost of each book will be $120, cash sales only. You will be able to come to the school between 8:00 am and 2:00 pm June 17-20 to purchase, and you MUST have exact change in cash, no checks accepted. Order Forms are on our website, or we will have some at the front office.

These books will be shipped to your home, so you will not need to pick them up from school. Once the order is placed, it will be about three weeks in production, so you should receive your book roughly one month after the order is placed. To make sure we are able to send the order out in a timely manner, we will not be accepting orders after 2:00 pm on Friday, June 20.

Due to the high probability of rain this Friday, all Senior events planned for Friday are being moved to Tuesday, June 3rd. This includes the car parade, group photo, senior meeting, yearbook distribution and senior picnic!
