Looking for summer camps for the dog days of summer? We've got you covered! Animal Camp is a week-long, half-day summer camp located in Fuquay-Varina. Kids learn about animals in fun and interactive ways, including getting to handle real animals and spending time outside learning about local wildlife.

We still have spots open for each of our summer sessions, which are:
July 15 - 19
July 22 - 26
July 29 - Aug 2
Aug 19 - 23

Spring has sprung! Let your kids explore the outdoors by sending them to Animal Camp, an engaging, hands-on nature-based camp. Each day kids learn about animals from across the world, play outside, and interact with real, live animals.

For families in year-round school, our March 4-8 session runs when Track 2 is tracked out, and March 11-15 runs when Track 1 is tracked out. And of course we love homeschool families any time! What: Animal Camp is an educational camp offered in half-day, week-long sessions.

When: Monday-Friday, 9:00am to 12:00 noon.

Who: Designed for children ages 5-12

How much: $140; for families registering multiple children, each extra child gets a successive $20 discount.

Where: 961 Glenmacie Dr, Fuquay-Varina

Taught by: Jocelyn Thomas, a mom of four who holds a Bachelor of Science in Integrative Biology and a minor in Early Childhood Education

Welcome to Animal Camp, an engaging half-day educational camp located in the heart of Fuquay-Varina! Each day children learn about different groups in the animal kingdom, participate in games, make arts and crafts, and have the opportunity to safely handle real animals. Additionally, each day they spend time outside exploring the meadow and nature trails on the property, guided to new and interesting things that will help them learn about the world around them.
