After reading Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?, students held up colorful animal cutouts to help retell the story and act out all the friendly characters. 🎨🦮🐱🐸

Parents,
We are selling DIY plushie kits for students to create their very own reading buddy. This is not just another stuffed animal, or like any you can buy from a store. It is crafted by your child.

Each kit comes with a bear skin, stuffing, a wishing star to be stuffed in the bear, a birth certificate, and a carrying bag. Students who purchase one will have a stuffing party to make their bear.

There will be times, throughout the school year, when they can bring their bear to school for “Read with my Bear” day. 🧸🦅🦄

Students who have 0 excused or unexcused absences for the month will earn a special treat and a shout-out on Facebook!

✌🏻Weekly Attendance Challenge🎉
Each week, we'll find out which grade level has the highest Average Daily Attendance! The winning grade level will get showcased on our Attendance Bulletin Board each week!

In December and May, we will celebrate the grade level who has had the best attendance per semester with a groovy fun party!🥳

📚 Kick Off the School Year with a Reading Buddy! 🧸✨

We are so excited to launch our School Year Reading Engagement Project!
Your child can build their very own 15-inch stuffed reading buddy—a special companion to listen to them read all year long!

Here’s how it works:
* 🐾 Choose a Friend: Pick from 6 adorable options!
* 🦄 Unicorn
* 🐺 Wolf
* 🧜‍♀️ Pink Mermaid Bear
* 🦅 Eagle
* 🐶 Puppy
* 🧸 Classic Cream Teddy Bear

* ✨ Build-Your-Own Kit: Students will stuff their friend, place a wishing star inside, seal it with a hidden closure, name it, and receive an official adoption certificate and carrying bag.
* 🏫 In-School Event: After ordering, students will build and stuff their reading buddies right here at school on September 15!
* 📖 Read All Year: Take it home and build great reading habits together!

💰 Cost: $20 per kit
⏰ Order Deadline: August 28
