Substitute position

We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to join our team. This role is essential in creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children. The ideal candidate will have experience in childcare settings and a passion for fostering children's development through play, education, and positive behavior management.

Responsibilities

-Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
-Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and intellectual growth.
-Educate children through structured play, storytelling, and creative activities.
-Manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques.
-Provide care for toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children as needed.
-Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning and play.
-Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
-Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition during care hours.

Requirements

-Previous experience in childcare, nannying, or babysitting is preferred.
-Knowledge of first aid and CPR is a plus.
-Strong understanding of child development principles and behavior management strategies.
-Ability to engage with children in a fun and educational manner.
-Experience with toddlers or preschool-aged children is highly desirable.
-Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children and parents alike.
-A patient, caring demeanor with a genuine love for working with children.
-High school Diploma preferred
-This is a substitute position. Hours and days vary-Monday-Friday, 7am to 5pm.
