💙 Shoutout to our AMAZING FES PTA! 💙

Our PTA truly goes above and beyond in everything they do for Fultondale Elementary! They are constantly finding ways to support our staff, enhance our school, and create meaningful experiences for our students. We are SO grateful for their partnership and dedication! 🐾

Just look at all they have helped make happen around FES:

✨ Repainted our hallways
💡 Added beautiful lights throughout every hallway
🏫 Created new teacher signs
🎨 Added updates and improvements in our gym
🌟 Created our amazing Student Showcase Wall
🎨 Helped bring our school mural to life
🌱 Transformed our FES garden with cooling shade and raised garden beds for all of our students to enjoy
🪑 Provided chairs for assemblies on rolling racks
Staff back to school luncheon!
Bought our kindergarten students the Night before kindergarten book!

These projects make such a HUGE difference in the look, feel, and experience of our school!

Good Afternoon Parents,

Here is some very important information regarding the first day of school.

***Bus Information: Attached below is the bus information for the school year. Please double check the times and route information below as some additional stops have been added to routes. Just a friendly reminder, please have your child standing outside their bus stop 10 minutes before the arrival time. This will ensure they won't miss the bus. Be patient with the drivers as they work to navigate their new routes and times.

***Kindergarten Parents ONLY: You may walk your child into the school at 7:30 in the morning. You will enter through the front of the school and walk to the amphitheater.

**** CARLINE: Carline begins at 7:20 every morning and will begin at 2:50 in the afternoon. Parents, please be patient with us as we navigate the first few weeks of school. I promise it will improve each day! Please see the picture of the car line route on how to enter the school.

**** Registration: If you are needing to register your child or drop off documents, registration will begin from 9:00 A.M-1:00 P.M in the library. You will need to enter through the front of the building. Your child will not be able to start until they are approved.

It was an incredible day to welcome our Fultondale Elementary teachers back for the new school year, especially as we begin the year centered around our theme: One School, One Puzzle, Endless Possibilities!

We started the morning with a delicious breakfast generously provided by Fultondale Fellowship Baptist Church, led by Alan Long. Following that, our teachers were treated to a special shopping experience hosted by Trinity Fellowship, led by Pastor Brandon Nelson, in partnership with Christian Service Mission. The experience was filled with many school supplies, household essentials, and so many thoughtful items. It was the perfect way to kick off the new school year!

We are incredibly grateful for the love, generosity, and support our community partners continue to pour into Fultondale Elementary. Thank you for investing in our teachers and staff so they can continue investing in our students.

We are excited for all that this school year has in store and are looking forward to an amazing year at FES! 💙📚🧡🧩

We have several exciting back-to-school reminders to share!

🎒 Power of Life Community Backpack Giveaway
The Power of Life Foundation will be handing out FREE backpacks to the community on Saturday, August 8th from 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. (while supplies last). Please see the flyer below for additional information.

🍧 Popsicles with the Principals
Join us on Sunday, August 9, from 3:00–4:00 p.m. on the back playground for Popsicles with the Principals! We’d love the opportunity to visit with our students and families before the first day of school.

🎒 Meet the Teacher Bonus!
The Power of Life Foundation will also be providing brand-new backpacks filled with school supplies and other goodies for our students during Meet the Teacher! We are so thankful for their generosity.

To take advantage of this wonderful opportunity, your child’s registration must be complete. Please remember that students must be fully registered to participate in our back-to-school events.

🍎 Meet the Teacher – Tuesday, August 11th

• Pre-K–1st Grade: 12:00–1:00 p.m.
• 2nd–3rd Grade: 1:00–2:00 p.m.
• 4th–5th Grade: 2:00–3:00 p.m.

All students must be fully registered by the end of the day on August 5th to attend Meet the Teacher.

Medication drop off: Medication may be dropped off Monday, August 10th from 8:00-3:00 and Tuesday, August 11th from 8:00-3:00.

📝 In-Person Registration Assistance
Need help completing registration? Our next in-person registration day is Wednesday, August 12th from 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. in the library.

Please note that students cannot begin school until their registration has been fully approved.

TODAY, August 5th is our FINAL in person registration help session until the first day of school. This will take place from 9:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. in the front office.

At this time, we still have 75 students that have not started or completed registration. It is required that your child’s registration be completed by the end of the day tomorrow , August 5th for your student to be registered and approved to attend Meet the Teacher on August 11th.

We will be very busy completing in person registration help today and WILL NOT be able to answer the phones. If you need to speak with someone regarding your registration, you will need to come in person from 9:00-2:00 today.

Reminder: If you complete your registration paperwork online, you must upload all required documents or bring them with you today, August 5th. Registration cannot be approved until all required documents have been received.
If you have received an email requesting more documents, this means your student’s registration is not complete. You MUST come today with documents.

A translator will be available today during in-person registration to assist families who need translation services. After August 5th, we WILL NOT offer another in-person registration opportunity until the first day of school.

Dear Parents and Guardians,

As we prepare for a smooth and exciting start to the new school year, we want to ensure all logistics, including After-School Care (ASC), are seamless for you and your child on the very first day.

To guarantee that your child is fully registered, properly invoiced, and on the roster to start (ASC) on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, all registration paperwork and fees must be completed by Friday, August 7, 2026.

Why is this deadline important?
Invoicing & Processing: Late registrations require manual review and system processing before MySchoolBucks (MSB) invoices can be generated and accepted.
Check-In Requirements: On the first day of school, ASC managers can only check in students whose registration and weekly fees are paid in full.
Avoid First-Day Delays: Registering on or right before the first day causes billing delays, meaning staff cannot safely accept your child into the program on day one.

When possible, we encourage families to plan vacations and trips during these breaks so students can be present for valuable classroom learning. Every day in school matters, and consistent attendance helps students stay connected, engaged, and successful.
