🍎 Teacher Spotlight: Katherine Wood 🍎

Today, we're excited to spotlight Katherine Wood, who teaches Psychology, Sociology, and History at Fulton High School!

For Katherine, one of the best parts of teaching is watching her students grow from freshmen into young adults and building relationships that go both ways. This year, she's also looking forward to taking on a new opportunityβ€”teaching leadership!

Katherine's students would describe her as caring, unique, and inclusive. Katherine also shared an important reminder about the work educators do beyond the classroom: teachers often take on the emotional burdens of their students because they care so deeply about helping them succeed. πŸ’›

Help us celebrate Katherine and the difference she makes for her students!

🍎 Know another Callaway County educator who deserves some recognition? There's still time to tag them on our pinned Tag-A-Teacher post! Teachers featured in our spotlights are selected from those tagged by the community and registered for our upcoming Teacher Appreciation Breakfast.

Do you know the answer? Are you registered for the breakfast?
