From seed to lunch tray! 🌱🥬

It’s exciting to see this project come to fruition!

Alex, Mrs. Carpenter, and her class have done a great job managing the hydroponic unit and putting their learning into action. 👏👏

Seeing students grow fresh vegetables and then have those vegetables served in our cafeterias is such a great example of learning, connecting, and growing!

Saying we are proud of them is an understatement!

Students are getting farming experience inside the classroom.

We are so proud of the work Alex, Mrs. Carpenter, and her class have put into growing fresh vegetables with the hydroponic unit! 🌱🥬

It’s amazing to see our students take an active role in growing food and then see those vegetables make their way into our cafeterias and onto students’ plates! What a great example of learning, connecting, and growing. 💚

🎥 WTVA will be airing a separate story tomorrow, September 17, highlighting Alex and his experience with the hydroponic unit. Be sure to tune in! 📺
