Hackground is a 501 (C) (3) non profit to promote and foster STE(A)M activities for K-12 students.



Hackground is not operating any programs since COVID-19. A framework created by a group of parents, educators and STEM enthusiast to promote Science, Technology, Engineering Mathematics & Art involving Technology for Students K-12. Activities include, (but not limited to ) partic

ipating in the First Lego League Robotics competitions, Supporting the FIRST Tech Challenge Robotics Competition, Learning to program Arduino Microcontrollers, Playing with Raspberry Pi, Building 3D Printers, Making Quadcopters, introduction to the Virtual Reality world and more. Our goal is to help unleash the creative minds of these students and help them leverage technology. Currently we are working out of a space donated by the Maple Lawn Community developers. Home to

New For December! Geared Up Holiday offered Dec. 27-31, 2021 for middle school students and families. A fun and interactive activity.

Each of the five 2-hour lessons is led by a trained instructor. Best of all, students get to keep their own functioning at the end of the program!
