Within the Residential Life Department, we take great pride in providing students with a diverse array of experience, often introducing them to experiences theyโve never had the opportunity to try. Recently, that commitment to providing a nurturing environment was manifested when several students expressed an interest in miniature modeling. Kits and supplies were provided, along with a bit of coaching from staff. Starting with simple snap together airplane kits of the World War II era, they learned the basics and moved on to more intricate, kits needing glue, sanding, and a great more attention to the assembly process. The students enjoyed it so much they asked to do it again and look forward to making more models.
