Thank you for your kind words and support during this difficult time. It’s beautiful to see the impact Mrs. Devendorf made on so many of you and your families. There’s comfort in knowing how deeply she was loved and admired.

I know she’s up there dancing with her husband, hair in a bun with a pencil tucked in it, tissues hidden in her skirt, making everyone laugh with her stories — or leaving them with their mouths wide open, because with Ruth, you truly never knew what you were going to get.

It is with a heavy heart that I share this—Mrs. Devendorf has passed away. This is incredibly hard to put into words, because she wasn’t just my grandma… she was such a special part of so many lives.

For over 70 years, she gave her heart to dance and to her students. She loved each and every one of you so deeply—she believed in you, cheered you on, and found so much joy in watching you grow. Her studio was more than just a place to dance, it was a home filled with love, encouragement, and lifelong memories.

She was so proud of all of you, and I know her spirit will live on every time you hear the music, take the dance floor or even snuggle in one of her quilts. Thank you for being such an important part of her life and for loving her the way you did.

We will miss her more than words can ever express 🤍

Good afternoon Mrs. Devendorf💔💔

Hello everyone, I know it’s been awhile since our last post and we apologize for that as there has been health concerns with Mrs. Devendorf.

I’m reaching out to ask our dance family and friends for a huge favor… If Mrs. D has gifted a hand-made quilt to you or friend/relative in your family can you please send a picture with it or video message to Mrs. D so that we can show her how much she has meant to us over the years and how loved she is or simply just a message saying hello.. we would appreciate it so much! 🥹🥰🥲

Thank you so much, we appreciate all of you and miss you more than you know.
