We are asking for your generous support by way of monetary donations for our first PTA-sponsored event of the 2026-2027 year… drumroll please… welcoming our teachers and staff back on August 13th, with a Back-to-School Breakfast and raffle in their honor! Any donation, no matter how big or small, is greatly appreciated, and all donations will make an impact in helping to offset the PTA’s costs.

A shout-out to our local business, The NOW Massage Maple Lawn, for their generous donation towards our raffle gift baskets for our teachers— thank you! 🌟

Keep an eye out for information on our upcoming virtual LKMS PTA General membership mtg. We must vote in a new board!! Looking for President, Secretary, Vice President, Fundraising Chair. Please attend!! Please consider being a member of the board.

If we do not fill these positions, there will be no 6th grade ice breaker, no 8th grade dance, no lime time, no teacher appreciation, no book fair, the list goes on!!

8th Grade graduation yard signs have arrived!! If you ordered a sign, you can pick them up Friday between 330-4pm at LKMS. If it's raining, we will be in the front office else right outside main doors.

LIME TIME - NEW DATE!!!
Due to the upcoming rain, we have to reschedule Lime Time to Wednesday, June 17th from 12:15-2:15pm. Please update your calendars. Also, we need volunteers!!! Honestly, if the rain didn't happen we would have considered cancelling because we were very short of our volunteer requirement. So please, please consider volunteering for a shift!!

Just wrapped up our LKMS PTA General Membership meeting. Unfortunately, we did not receive any nominations for President, Secretary, Fundraising Chair, or second Vice President.
