Teacher Appreciation Week ✌️! Today, the Pep Squad sponsored a dirty soda bar for our staff!

This weekend our Quiz Bowl teams competed in the MSNCT National Championship Tournament in Chicago against 192 teams! Teams A and B brought home wins (Team A-8th & Team B-21st)— making history as the farthest any team has ever advanced in Adams history. We are so very PROUD for our Vikings! 💙💛 🎉 Katy ISD

What an incredible day at Adams Junior High.

Captain Mike McCoy and Officer Jennifer Edmonds were honored to be invited to serve as judges for the school’s 8th Grade Shark Tank Project yesterday, and we had an amazing time watching these students shine.

This project came at the perfect time of year when students are counting down the days until summer vacation, yet the anticipation of presenting before community leaders completely energized the campus. The students worked incredibly hard preparing their presentations, pitches, and projects, and it absolutely showed.

For many of these students, this was their first time presenting in front of professionals and answering questions outside their comfort zones. While there were definitely some nervous moments, they rose to the occasion with confidence, creativity, and determination.

It was inspiring to watch these young leaders think critically, communicate their ideas, and grow throughout the day. Opportunities like this help prepare students not only for high school, but for future careers and leadership roles in our community.

A huge thank you to the teachers and staff at Adams Junior High for inviting us to be part of such a meaningful experience. The future is bright with students like these leading the way!

Please help us welcome our newest Assistant Principal, Mr. Noel, to the Viking Family! He will be joining our family beginning the 2026-2027 school year!

It’s Teacher Appreciation Week, and we hope our staff is already feeling so loved! Our amazing Adams JH PTSA treated our entire staff to Bundt cakes, and our Publications department provided pizza and salad. Our bellies are full, but our hearts are fuller!
