A reminder that our HCOM138/338/426/499 final class meeting will take place during the week of finals on Tuesday, May 16. You should report to CP470 for evaluations and the High Impact Practice survey at 5 pm (the scheduled final exam period). Afterwards, please join us at Roundtable pizza (on Chapman) for an end-of-the-season pizza party (we encourage those of you with cars to help coordinate rides for anyone who does not have a vehicle. Unfortunately, your instructors cannot be present during the evaluations, but the graduate assistants will be there to coordinate with you). We hope to see everyone at Roundtable!
Good luck to our Titans who are competing at the Owen L. C**n Tournament @ Northwestern University this weekend!
Best of luck to the CSUF Titans who are currently competing at Southwestern College's Hannie Shaft Debate Tournament!
Speech and Debate students registering for fall classes: Please consider taking HCOM426 with Joel Salcedo, especially if you have already taken HCOM138 or HCOM338 multiple times. (HCOM426: Directing Forensics gives you an option to do service work for the team or to compete in intercollegiate competition. It also meets form 4-6:45 on Tuesdays.)
Additionally, many of you might enjoy a new course offering, HCOM492T: Political Communication with Dr. Alyssa Samek. It’s a great course to take in an election year and will only be offered this fall. The sooner you can sign up and reserve your spot in the classes, the better!
