Take the next step in advanced stage and screen combat training through challenging new weapon styles, scene work, and performance for theatre, film, and television. Build on your existing armed and unarmed skills while developing greater precision, physical awareness, storytelling, safety, and confidence in heightened dramatic action, conservatory-style training designed for performers ready to push their fight performance further.
Michael Mueller (he/him) is the Head of Acting and Stage Combat at Fullerton College. He has directed, performed, taught, and choreographed violence across the country and in the UK. Michael’s educational approach engages imagination and play while maintaining efficient and transparent communication. In the rehearsal hall or classroom, he seeks to establish and maintain supportive collaboration to ensure a safe, risk-taking environment where inquiry, inspiration, fearlessness, and humor enable character discovery and personal revelation. He holds a B.F.A. in Acting from Wright State University and a M.F.A. in Performance Pedagogy from the University of Pittsburgh.
