CSUF News Center - Speech-Language Pathologist Is Outstanding Lecturer Therese Cooper, lecturer in communication sciences and disorders, is the recipient of this year’s Outstanding Lecturer Award recognizing excellence in teaching effectiveness and commitment to students.

A BIG congratulations to one of our faculty members, Therese Cooper, for winning “Outstanding Lecturer” out of all the Lecturers in the University, awarded by the Academic Senate! We are so proud to have you as an advisor, lecturer, and supervisor. Thank you for all you do!

CSUF News Center - On-Campus Speech and Hearing Clinic Offers Training for Future Clinicians Graduate students gain clinical experience in speech and hearing therapy to become workforce ready.

Members of CSUF and Alumni, we need you to share the information below with friends, family, and colleagues. Can you help us out?

We are now recruiting for Titan Tykes Summer Group Therapy Program. Clients, ages 3 to 6, will receive group-based intervention services; however, clients will be assigned to one student speech therapist. Yes, that's right! Clients get the benefits of group intervention and have one-to-one services.
Who can join in on the fun?
Children between the ages of 3-6 years with a need in the areas of speech, language, augmentative and alternative communication, literacy, behavior regulation, etc.

Whats the cost?
$200 for 8 days of intervention (i.e., 3 days a week for 2 1/2 weeks) for 2 hours per day.
When?
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
July 15 – July 31
AM 9:30-11:30 or PM 12:30-2:30

What do the kids do?
Each day has a cool theme such as pirates day. We have stations that target skills such as speech, literacy, behavior regulation, gross motor, and pretend play. Kids are encouraged to dress up and bring items from home to incorporate into therapy. SEE THE ATTACHED BROCHURE FOR MORE INFORMATION!

Hello CSUF Alumni! There will be a CSUF Alumni Luncheon Event on March 16, Saturday, at 12:00-1:30 pm at the Sheraton Pasadena Hotel during CSHA convention. It is an opportunity for faculty, alumni, and current students in the Communicative Disorders at CSUF meet and share your work/personal stories and inspire current students.

Faculty, alumni, and students in the Communicative Disorders at CSUF will meet at the
luncheon on March 16, Saturday, at 12:00-1:30 pm at the Sheraton Pasadena Hotel during
CSHA convention. It is an opportunity to share your work/personal stories and inspire current
students.

50 people.

A couple of students developed this pamphlet as part of their Scottish Rite conference presentation last month and we wanted to share it with all of you.

Excited that our multicultural clinic is wrapping up for the summer!
