AUHSD Citizens for Quality Schools 2014 is the committee for Yes on Measure H, a bond to fund AUHSD schools for 21st century safety and academic standards.
Welcome to the AUHSD Citizens for Quality Schools 2014 Yes on Measure H page! We are the Campaign Committee for the $249 million school bond measure (Measure H) that the Board of Trustees of the Anaheim Union High School District voted to place on the November 2014 ballot. The effort to secure passage of Bond Measure H has united communities across five cities behind this important cause,
sending a powerful message that we care about the education our children receive. A Facility Master Plan recently identified almost $1.3 billion in facility needs throughout the Anaheim Union High School District. Most school buildings are 35 to 63 years old; 129 of them have never been improved. Our students are receiving a quality education, but don’t they deserve the same learning environment that, say, students in south Orange County have? Together, we can begin to make that happen. Our goal is to educate the public, obtain volunteers, and raise funding to advocate for a “yes” vote on the bond, Measure H. We invite you to be part of the solution for improving the learning environment in the Anaheim Union High School District (AUHSD). Any donation is much appreciated; your donation will be recorded and a receipt will be sent directly to you. Please accept our thanks in advance for any contribution you can make.
