Thank you to the Orange County Register for highlighting our Breakfast in the Classroom program at Pacific Drive Elementary! Unlike traditional school breakfast, which is served in the cafeteria before the first bell, Breakfast in the Classroom takes place after the school day begins, right at students’ desks. By making breakfast free and available to every student during the school day, the program reaches more children and helps them begin the morning nourished, focused and ready to learn.

While attendance is taken, students can enjoy baked goods or bacon, egg and cheese breakfast pockets — served with a side of fruit. More here: https://mrf.lu/2CHpL

💙 More than $112,000 in support for FSD students, schools and programs!

At our recent Board of Trustees meeting, we proudly recognized the Fullerton Education Foundation for its incredible support during the 2025-26 school year, helping fund teacher grants, our Hockey Tournament, Tiny Home Project and FSD Fest.

👏 Celebrating our Speech & Debate scholars! At our recent Board of Trustees meeting, we proudly recognized Fullerton School District Speech & Debate students for their outstanding accomplishments at the National Speech & Debate Tournament this summer! 🎤🏆

Many of these talented scholars are now freshmen in the Fullerton Joint Union High School District, but they continue to make FSD proud. Their hard work, confidence and dedication helped put Fullerton School District on the national stage.

Congratulations to our students, coaches and families on an incredible achievement!

🍎 Breakfast is now being served right in the classroom at Pacific Drive Elementary!

Pacific Drive is the third Fullerton School District school to launch Breakfast in the Classroom, joining Commonwealth and Richman elementary schools. 💙

The program provides breakfast at no cost to students right in their classrooms, helping students start their morning fueled and ready to learn!

A big thank you to our Nutrition Services team, teachers and staff for working together and finding ways to support student wellness and academic success across FSD!

🎉 Two Fullerton School District schools made Alliance for a Healthier Generation’s 2026 list of America’s !

🍎 Maple Elementary School earned national recognition in three categories for its work supporting school health services, wellness and social-emotional learning.

🥗 Robert C. Fisler School was recognized for improving nutrition and food access, including Second Chance Breakfast and expanded nutritious snack options.

From supporting student wellness to expanding access to nutritious food, Maple and Fisler are helping students build healthy habits that support success in school and beyond 👏

🎉 That’s a wrap on the first week of school — and our junior high Paloozas!

Students at Beechwood, Ladera Vista, Nicolas and Parks celebrated with fun-filled assemblies featuring everything from Mad Science experiments and a student balloon race to arts and crafts, games and plenty of school spirit. 💙

With Fisler kicking off Palooza on Thursday, these events were a fun way to build community, make connections and end an exciting first week back. Have a great weekend, FSD — we’ll see you next week!
