Fantastic update from Stephanie (SCERP 2005 cohort)! Stephanie serves as Manager of the Water Resources and Environmental Planning Group at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. She leads a team of Water Resources specialists (focused on groundwater, drinking water, stormwater, and wastewater), Wildlife Biologists and NEPA specialists. Stephanie and her husband now have two kids! Great!

Talking Trash: Tracking Ocean Litter in the Rocky Intertidal Zone | CSUF News Trina Miller, a Cal State Fullerton undergraduate researcher studying marine biology, is focusing on a study to identify and categorize ocean trash to determine the threats of human-caused debris to marine life in the rocky intertidal zone.

Congratulations Sydnee (SCERP 2018 Cohort)! Sydnee starts a new position as a scientific aid for the Department of Fish & Wildlife this month. She will contribute to conservation efforts preventing and controlling two prolific invasive freshwater species, Quagga (Dreissena rostriformis bugensis) and Zebra (Dreissena polymorpha) mussels.
