"My number one piece of advice for English majors or recent graduates is this: don’t listen to anyone who tells you that you cannot find a job with an English degree. Don’t get discouraged. Hello everyone! I hope you are enjoying your spring break! As a reminder of upcoming events, we have a meeting on Monday, April 4th at Aloha Java at 7pm. We will be discussing the Philip K. Dick Conference. If you would like to help, in any capacity, be sure to come to that meeting. Additionally, we will be having a Project Presentation workshop on Wednesday, April 6th. All of you graduating (or not-quite-graduating) graduate students will be able to come and talk to some former grad students about what they did to plan their project presentations. We look forward to the last few weeks of school and seeing you there!
