Betty Reid Soskin, oldest National Park Service ranger, dies at 104 Soskin used her fame to raise awareness about often-overlooked and untold stories.

Fall Awards Season brings congratulations to MPA students Jessica Rumbo, winner of the Saltzstein Excellence Award, and Neria Salinas, the MPA Alumni Scholarship Award winner!

Congrats to current student, Bella Veloz, recipient of the 2025 Wes McClure scholarship! This California City Management Foundation award recognizes outstanding commitment to local public service and leadership. The MPA has had McClure winners in six of the past seven years!
