Prof. Cora Granata recently met up with her former grad student and History alum Jennifer Keil at the Holocaust Museum Orange County to discuss potential collaborations. Jennifer is currently developing the museum’s expansion.  While a student at CSUF, Jennifer conducted oral histories for Dr. Granata’s From Hitler’s Europe to the Golden State oral history project, and she is drawing on that training.  The immersive Holocaust Museum Orange County will include oral histories and community-donated artifacts.  Be a part of the story and learn more at holocaustmuseumoc.org

Interested in starting your own oral history project and learning oral history methodology?
Dr. Natalie Fousekis, Director of the Lawrence de Graaf Center for Oral and Public History, will lead a virtual oral history workshop on September 19th, 2026 from 10am-1pm PST on Zoom! This workshop will introduce you to the preparation, recording, transcription and archival organization of oral histories, and will also include a Q&A. Registration is open until September 5th.
