Last day of our mini-series! To end our meet the eboard, we have Brianna Gonzales, and that’s me! Yes that’s right, I’m the person behind BF de CSUF social media for the school year and rest of this semester. When I can’t get to that, I have the help of other board members to provide pictures, videos, and inform of upcoming events on social media platforms. I’m usually the person blowing up your phones with new posts and answering your dms 😎 I help to bring you guys content from our own events and anything else that’s happening on campus, especially if BF is performing 😉 got questions? Our mini series is almost over, and what a way to begin the end with Mr. Isaac Hernandez! Isaac is our MESA Coorperativa representative. MESA is an organization that recognizes the need for unity amongst Chicanx/Latinx student organizations on campus here at CSUF, to quote from ‘s statement. Isaac helps to relay information back to BF de CSUF much like Miss Lidia about events on campus such as Dia de Los Padres and La Bienvenida! Isaac, you help bring these events to our attention, especially with the amazing energy you bring each meeting and each practice! Thank you Isaac! 🫶

Happy rainy Tuesday! We see the sunshine right through these clouds with Miss Lidia Vasquez! Lidia is our AICA (Association for Inter-Cultural Awareness, a branch of ASI) representative, meaning she attends these meetings on behalf of BF de CSUF and relays any info back to us about what’s happening within intercultural communities. Mondays are the start of the week, so let’s start off this week by introducing Miss Meleny Roman, our co-event coordinator! Meleny helps to plan our events along with Joel and is one of our biggest helps! Meleny helps so much behind the scenes and was one of the reasons why our Valentine’s fundraiser was a success! Saturdays are for parties, and for parties you need an event coordinator, and we have Joel Garcia! Joel is the main person in charge of organizing events and spaces for our showcases. Happy Friday! And what better way to celebrate a Friday than to highlight our Artistic Director, maestro Arnold Garcia! Arnold is the person who helps the magic happen. He teaches and choreographs our dances and regions every practice! Arnold is the main reason we bring you all these dances, why our wardrobe gets hemmed, and why certain wardrobe (Nayarit) gets created! He has done SO much for our organization, and even created his very own skirt to help us practice! Arnold, you are absolutely incredible, thank you and we appreciate you! 🤍

Good morning! Today we have our amazing treasurer, Miss Alondra Gonzalez! Alondra helps us out with budgeting and collecting money, such as our membership fees and keeping track of where it goes. You probably saw her helping out at our end of semester showcase in the front! It’s also a big bonus that she’s an accounting and business analysis major 😎 Alondra, without your help as treasurer, we could be making some iffy decisions! Kaleyah stepped up as our secretary and has been an absolute help. She helps ensure our meetings run smoothly by setting an agenda and making sure everyone has a chance to speak. Kaleyah is one of the most chill people you will ever meet, and she’s a fantastic dancer in and out of folklorico! She also helps so much behind the scenes; we’d be lost without her!
