🎬BEHIND THE SCENES🎬
Pacific Drive began Breakfast in the Classroom this Monday, August 17th! Pacific Drive is the third school in Fullerton SD to provide breakfast in the classroom for their students. Enjoy some fun Behind the Scenes of launch day here!

Student leaders come to the kitchen to collect breakfast for their classrooms. From there, the students are able to enjoy breakfast together before a day full of learning!

🍎 Breakfast Fun Fact! Did you know that your brain needs breakfast fuel? The brain uses sugar (glucose) for energy, kind of like a car needs gas! After a long night without eating, breakfast refills the tank so you can think, focus, and remember things better at school.

Students at Valencia Park participating in our Summer Meal Program took time to complete a food preference survey and share their thoughts on school meals. From favorite fruits and vegetables to menu ideas and new foods they’d like to try, their feedback helps us create meals that students enjoy.

Student voice is an important ingredient in building a successful meal program, and we appreciate every survey completed. Thank you, Valencia Park students, for helping us shape the future of school meals!

"I'm the only Jewish person that attends my in-laws holiday party so I decided to make this to add a little Jewish tradition to our dinner. Tomorrow, students will enjoy a warm, comforting lunch featuring fluffy scrambled eggs and golden French toast. A perfect combo that brings breakfast favorites into the middle of the school day to keep students fueled, focused, and ready to learn.

Eggs provide high-quality protein to support growing bodies and strong minds, while French toast adds that cozy, energizing boost students love. It is a simple way to turn lunchtime into something familiar, satisfying, and fun.

A special thank you to our Main Dish team for their dedication and scratch cooking that makes meals like this possible every day. Your care and craftsmanship truly show up on every tray. 👏🍽️

As the school year comes to a close, Fullerton School District Nutrition Services is proud to celebrate a strong year of wellness, nutrition education, and student engagement! 🎉🍎

This year, we successfully completed 62 major nutrition education and promotion initiatives across our district, including:
