Hello Titans,

Kaiser Permanente will be hosting a Lestonnac Free Clinic Externship. The Lestonnac/Kaiser Permanente Externship was created to target undergraduate students from disadvantaged backgrounds/underrepresented minorities interested in medicine to experience an 8 week full-time immersion program involving one-on-one clinical shadowing, community project development, health education, and literature/social media review of community medicine.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

● 8-week clinical externship

● Full-Time requirement: Monday -Friday

● One-on-one mentorship

● Learn and practice basic history taking at Lestonnac Free Clinic

● Clinic Project Development

● Clinical Shadowing

● Interact with Family Medicine Residents, Faculty, and Community Medicine Fellow

● Weekly Community Medicine topics & discussion with Community Medicine Fellow

● $1,000 stipend upon completion if available
