Mustang Community! Maple's first day of school for the 2023-2024 school year is August 14th, and we have an EPIC year planned for our students!

This is our 100th Anniversary celebration and the mark of our rebranding as an environmental science and experiential learning school!

Our new vision is to provide a curiosity-driven, impactful education to our students through Project-Based Learning, advocacy, environmental science, and immersive experiences.

At Maple, we believe that students deserve world-class experiences! Sue Fitzmaurice said, “You must go on adventures to find out where you truly belong.” Maple provides 3-day experiences to Astrocamp and Catalina Island Marine Institute for all of our 4th, 5th, and 6th-grade students, a unique program designed to pique and expand our students' interests and passions, while also safely challenging them to overcome fears and obstacles in order to build self-confidence and agency. These experiences are FREE to all of our families!

Our goal is that each student experiences daily active, hands-on activities which spark critical thinking and creativity each school day!

Lastly, over the summer, our campus has been transformed to inspire our students and community for the next 100 years! We can't wait for you to see it!

We want to remind and invite everyone to our Coffee with the Principal and PTA Meeting will be held Tuesday, April 4th at 8:15 AM in the Parent Center (Room 16).

PTA wants to invite parents to also attend the Cinco de Mayo Cultural Celebration Planning Committee, Wednesday, April 5, at 9:00 AM. All help and support are appreciated.

As a PTA parent, you will be helping to create, organize, and set up for school events, fundraisers, socials, and more! We are always looking for new members to join!

Please join us for some morning coffee and chat with us! Coffee with the Principal is one of your many opportunities to talk directly with Mr. Abney about any questions, concerns, or ideas! We want to hear it all!
