All are invited to walk the labyrinth this Thursday on Tuffy Lawn from 11:00am to 2:00pm.
What is a labyrinth?
Used as part of a spiritual practice or a tool to reduce stress, labyrinths have existed almost 2,000 years. It is important to note that labyrinths are paths, not mazes, there is one way in and one way out.
What can you do in the labyrinth?
A labyrinth is a space to release your burdens, receive love and peace, and return to the world with renewed purpose and clarity. Labyrinth walking supports flow, not force; cooperation, not competition.
“If we keep putting one foot in front of the other, we can quiet the mind and find our center. The Journey may be difficult, and the lesson is to trust the path.” - Lauren Artress

Today is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, a national holiday established to honor the life and legacy of civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
How can we honor Dr. King today? As Coretta Scott King said, “The greatest birthday gift my husband could receive is if people of all racial and ethnic backgrounds celebrated the holiday by performing individual acts of kindness through service to others.”
