CTVA 102: INSIDE THE MOVIES
Mondays, 7:00-10:00pm
HUM-123
CTVA 102 (elective; 3 units) offers students an in-depth look at the movies through weekly Q&As with Hollywood filmmakers. Each class consists of a film screening followed by a conversation with industry professionals — including screenwriters, directors, actors, producers, editors, cinematographers, sound designers, production designers, stunt coordinators, location managers, visual effects artists, etc. — to discuss their roles in making a feature film.
In addition, CTVA 102 is the only CSUF class that partners with film studios to provide students with exclusive in-class giveaways and opportunities to attend advance screenings and red carpet premieres. Students are encouraged to follow on Instagram to see the full roster of past guest speakers and screening events.
Direct all questions to Dr. Mike Dillon [[email protected]].
