Yep…it’s just me doing my thing. 😁Teaching the Aveda botanical skin resurfacing treatment. Aveda’s alternative to microdermabrasion. Same results as microdermabrasion minus the redness and irritation that can occur in that treatment.

It’s interesting to me how as we age we try so hard to get rid of our “fine lines” “wrinkles” “scars”… but what if we just soften them. Wear them as a reminder of “US” and the life we have lived?! I think some of it is we don’t want to “bare” all of the life lessons we have had. As we know some people consciously and unconsciously use that to have power or have an advantage over someone with. 😢

I love connecting with people! When someone is on my table at work and they allow me to “SEE” them. Wow… I am speechless and feel gratitude for the opportunity to connect with someone. 🥰

Some of us are just better at hiding them… but they are there. We all have lines, scars and marks. ❤️

And…hopefully we ”see” each other’s hearts and where we are going… versus where we have been!!

As an esthetician and massage therapist, I see a lot of body art. Now, I got a new one. ❤️ So much detail! Maybe one day I will tell ya the meaning behind this one for me…but for now… just super excited about it. in Bellingham Wa. He specializes in flowers but clearly is amazing at animals too. His shop is super clean and zen.

I love having the opportunity to work with other educators in the Aveda network to inspire hairstylists, massage therapists, estheticians, guest services and salon spa owners! We did a super fun event with the Iowa accounts yesterday! Hair cut, Hair color, Aveda retail and of course my and Erica Treat domain…Aveda Spa. ❤️ Erica taught the new Kuhl It facial and I taught Deep Tissue Massage for neck and back. We had so much fun and it was so jam packed we weren’t even able to take many pics to share. Can you imagine learning in this room for spa?! 🥰 Thank you again Jessica Barker for everything you did to make this event possible!!
