Hi Everyone! Theta Alpha Kappa, the Religious Studies Honors Society, is currently gearing up to publish the second edition of our own student journal, The Canopy. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to have their original work published, and a great item to add to your resume. To submit a paper, or for more information, email [email protected].

Since finals are next week, we'll give you one less reason to procrastinate - we won't be screening a movie tonight, but we will still have board elections. If you are interested in becoming more involved on campus and CRSA, come by Hum 228 from 7-7:30.

05/07/2014

Tomorrow evening the Comparative Religion Student Association will be hosting its final meeting and board elections for 2014-2015. Join us in Hum 228 from 7 - 9 PM! We'll watch a movie, provide snacks, and have a film discussion afterward - everyone there will vote on which movie we watch. Board elections will be conducted first, so if you cannot stay for the movie the elections should last from about 7-7:15 PM. If you are interested in getting involved or have questions but cannot attend the meeting, please email [email protected].

Our board positions range from high-involvement to a smaller commitment, so whatever your interest level or schedule is like, you can still get involved on campus and amp up CV/resume.

CRSA:
- Hosts scholars and professors to discuss topics ranging from paganism and Wicca to Islam and the media
- Attends conferences
- Has film nights and our annual Alumni, Faculty, Student pizza and bowling night
- Puts together field trips
- Aims to foster interreligious awareness and dialogue
